Pale doors and dark vertical sections make different functions easy to distinguish. For an entrance that opens directly into a living room, this design can give shoes and decorative objects defined places within one coordinated storage wall.
Entrance design references from our Spatial Solution Manual
Explore these additional cabinet configurations from our manual. They show options for custom planning rather than completed installations or a fixed package. Materials, dimensions and accessories are confirmed in your quotation.

The original gallery variations described below are retained alongside these manual design references.
Use contrast to organise an open-plan entrance
These two-tone shoe cabinet variations pair pale doors with dark vertical display areas. One concentrates the contrast along the side, while another adds a horizontal dark band through the lower frontage.
Read the entrance as part of the living space
The manual distinguishes open-plan entrances from corridor and door-facing-wall layouts. Look at the cabinet from both the front door and the living room before choosing the position of the dark display section.
Balance open and closed compartments
Keep daily clutter behind the pale doors and use the contrasting area for a small number of objects. If shoe storage is the priority, reduce the open-display allocation before increasing the overall cabinet depth.
Avoid unnecessary depth
The manual uses around 350 mm for everyday shoe storage and 400 mm for shoebox storage. Confirm the internal clearance required for your footwear, then review how the cabinet and horizontal detail affect movement through the entrance.
These planning references are adapted from Meerkat Home’s Spatial Solution Manual. Final dimensions and fittings are confirmed against your site measurements and approved design.
Customisation and pricing
Base shoe cabinetry starts from S$275 per linear foot. The final quotation depends on cabinet dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware and the agreed scope. Display glass, lighting, bench details and additional accessories are confirmed individually; the base rate is not the price of the complete arrangement shown.
The gallery presents design references and may include alternative configurations. Select the layout, cabinet-board material and finish samples with our team before production.
Frequently asked questions
Can this cabinet act as a room divider?
The images show a cabinet design reference. A freestanding or partition version requires a separately reviewed layout, support and rear finish; do not assume a wall cabinet can be installed as a divider.
Can I change the dark accent colour?
Discuss alternative finish samples with the design team. The final colour combination and material specification are confirmed before production.
