One gallery variation provides a bench area, while the other gives more emphasis to cabinet and display space. This makes the design a useful starting point when you are deciding whether a fixed shoe-changing seat belongs in your entrance.
Entrance design references from our Spatial Solution Manual
Explore these additional cabinet configurations from our manual. They show options for custom planning rather than completed installations or a fixed package. Materials, dimensions and accessories are confirmed in your quotation.

The original gallery variations described below are retained alongside these manual design references.
Choose the entrance arrangement around your seating needs
Two pale shoe cabinet arrangements use a dark glass-front display section and a contrasting horizontal niche. A bench area appears in one variation, giving you a choice of how seating and display fit alongside the closed storage.
Compare the two layouts in use
Mark the proposed cabinet and bench positions on your floor plan. Check the route from the front door into the home and consider whether someone sitting at the entrance would block another person walking past.
Adapt for different generations
The manual’s multi-generational entrance scheme combines defined storage zones, adjustable shelves and a considered seating area. Discuss a bench with suitable support and optional armrests if an older family member will use it regularly.
Keep display separate from daily clutter
Place everyday footwear in accessible enclosed shelves and reserve the glass section for selected items. For the bench version, the manual’s 400–420 mm seat-height reference can begin the discussion, but the final dimensions should fit the intended users.
These planning references are adapted from Meerkat Home’s Spatial Solution Manual. Final dimensions and fittings are confirmed against your site measurements and approved design.
Customisation and pricing
Base shoe cabinetry starts from S$275 per linear foot. The final quotation depends on cabinet dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware and the agreed scope. Display glass, lighting, bench details and additional accessories are confirmed individually; the base rate is not the price of the complete arrangement shown.
The gallery presents design references and may include alternative configurations. Select the layout, cabinet-board material and finish samples with our team before production.
Frequently asked questions
Does every configuration include a bench?
No. The gallery contains different arrangements. The selected layout and any bench must be stated in the approved drawings and quotation.
How do I choose between more storage and a bench?
List the shoes that need enclosed storage, then test whether a comfortable seat and passage fit within the wall length. Choose the arrangement that supports your daily routine rather than maximising cabinet doors alone.
