The gallery offers two ways to break up a large cabinet frontage: a glass-front side section or open vertical cubbies. Both can provide a visual focal point, but the right arrangement depends on the balance between decorative objects and the footwear you need to store.
Entrance design references from our Spatial Solution Manual
Explore these additional cabinet configurations from our manual. They show options for custom planning rather than completed installations or a fixed package. Materials, dimensions and accessories are confirmed in your quotation.

The original gallery variations described below are retained alongside these manual design references.
Choose how much of your entrance stays on display
These two entrance cabinet arrangements combine large pale doors with vertical display niches. One uses a dark glass-front side section, while the other relies on open cubbies, giving you two ways to balance concealed storage and display.
Choose between open access and enclosed display
Open cubbies make frequently used objects easy to reach. A glass-front display separates decorative pieces from the open entrance area. Compare both arrangements with the objects you plan to keep there and the access needed for cleaning.
Protect the useful shoe-storage volume
The manual prioritises storage that suits daily habits rather than filling every surface with cabinetry. Count your regular shoes, seasonal pairs and boxes before allocating a full vertical column to display. Discuss shelf spacing and separate zones for different family members.
Fit the cabinet to the entrance type
A corridor entrance, a wall facing the door and an open-plan entrance need different layouts. Use the manual’s approximately 350 mm daily-footwear depth as a starting point, then check door opening, the remaining passage and the size of your actual shoes.
These planning references are adapted from Meerkat Home’s Spatial Solution Manual. Final dimensions and fittings are confirmed against your site measurements and approved design.
Customisation and pricing
Base shoe cabinetry starts from S$275 per linear foot. The final quotation depends on cabinet dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware and the agreed scope. Display glass, lighting, bench details and additional accessories are confirmed individually; the base rate is not the price of the complete arrangement shown.
The gallery presents design references and may include alternative configurations. Select the layout, cabinet-board material and finish samples with our team before production.
Frequently asked questions
Does a display niche reduce shoe capacity?
It uses space that could otherwise hold enclosed shelves. We recommend deciding how many shoes need storage first, then assigning the remaining width to display.
Can the open and glass-front sections be customised?
Their arrangement can be discussed during design. Glass, lighting and specialist hardware are selected and priced as part of the confirmed specification.
