An L-shaped counter connects the window-side work area with a tall appliance-storage section. Pale cupboards, warm lower fronts and a horizontal niche help this custom kitchen combine everyday preparation space with enclosed storage.
Make the corner part of the workflow
Use the two adjoining walls to organise washing, preparation and cooking. The Spatial Solution Manual's L-shaped layouts keep frequently used work areas connected. Plan a clear preparation surface between tasks and check whether the corner is easier to use with shelves, drawers or an optional pull-out mechanism.
Measure the tall appliance cabinet first
The manual treats refrigerator cabinets, appliance towers and pantry cabinets as different storage types. Its typical tall-cabinet reference is about 600 mm deep and 2,200–2,400 mm high, but the final opening depends on the appliance model and available ceiling height. Confirm ventilation, door movement, power points and maintenance access before drawings are approved.

Choose accessible storage on each wall
Keep heavy cookware near the cooking zone and everyday preparation tools below the worktop. Upper cupboards can hold less frequently used items; a small open shelf can keep daily essentials within reach. Drawer fronts and corner doors need room to open without colliding with adjacent handles.
Check the window and working height
Record the window sill, tap height, sockets and any service pipes. The manual uses approximately 850–900 mm as a common worktop-height reference, subject to the user's height and tasks. Adapt that reference rather than assuming the pictured counter will fit your room.

Cabinet starting prices per foot run
- Half height cabinets start from S$275 per foot run.
- Full height cabinets start from S$549 per foot run.
A foot run means one linear foot measured along the cabinet run. These are starting rates for the selected cabinet category, not the price of the entire room or complete set pictured. The measured length, cabinet dimensions, materials, internal fittings and confirmed scope determine the final quotation. Material and finish upgrades are quoted during consultation.
Kitchen upper and lower cabinet runs are measured and quoted separately. A full-height pantry or appliance cabinet is quoted under the full-height category. Confirm worktops, appliances, accessories and installation inclusions in the project quotation.
Frequently asked questions
Can I include an oven or a pantry in the tall section?
Yes, discuss the intended appliance and contents during planning. The tower dimensions, ventilation, internal fittings and final price depend on that specification.
Is a corner pull-out included?
A pull-out basket is an optional design choice. Confirm its size, load capacity, access and price in the quotation before selecting it.
How do I get a quotation?
Send your floor plan, site photographs, preferred cabinet lengths and this product link. We will discuss the layout, confirm measurements and review materials before preparing the final scope. Read about our cabinet design process or visit our Singapore showroom.
